A probate cleanout isn’t the same as an ordinary move-out. There may be heirs who haven’t agreed on the furniture. There may be paperwork in the house the attorney needs — old deeds, insurance policies, the title to the truck. The sale of the home may be what funds the estate, which means the realtor’s timeline matters. And everything you spend needs a paper trail.
